Sprocket Center Distance Calculator:
- Determine your chain's pitch (e.g., 428 = .500).
- Input the chain pitch value (.500).
- Note your stock front sprocket's teeth count (12, 13, 14, etc.) and enter it.
- Identify the number of teeth on your stock rear sprocket (45, 46, 47, etc.) and input this figure.
- Click the "compute" button to receive the center distance measurement.
Chain Length Calculator:
- Re-enter the chain pitch value.
- Input the new counts for both the front and rear sprocket teeth.
- Add the newly computed center distance.
- Click "compute" to find out the required number of chain links.
- Remember, if the result is an odd number, add 1 link for proper fitting.

Luke Bodwell 2020-12-10 I have a 93 FJ1200 that all came with a 16 inch rear rim. No good tires can be had for 16 inch rims. So I found a 17 inch one that looks like the FJ from a 1989 GSXR 750. The sprocket was not gong to work at all with my bike (gearing would be way to low) and there were none for sale that would.
I called Rebel Gears thinking, what the heck, it was 0 problems. 3 min on the phone only to verify dimensions so the sprocket would fit. Price was less then I expected for a custom made sprocket.
Fast shipping and very friendly customer service. Something you just do not see with this world of click and ship.
